Kathryn Scrivener
- Title / Position: Professor
I've taught college composition at a community college for 20 years now -- all the levels of composition that we offer here -- and I have taught many literature classes (mythology, the Bible as literature, early British, 18th century British, modern world literature, science fiction, writing about literature, introduction to literature and I know I've left some out but you get the picture). Although Popular Culture is my new love, I have no time for gaming -- but then, I never did. When the poker chips or the Monopoly boards come out, I head to the kitchen to make snacks because F2F games bore me, too. When can we have a great pillow fight? Is there not a dog to walk? Niocholas Carr makes many good points, but nobody ever inherited the future she wanted -- everyone adapts to the future that arrives.
